This May, we’re embracing the start of the summer season with fresh new experiences designed around wellness, relaxation, and effortless Caribbean living. Guests can look forward to sunny outdoor fitness classes, poolside rosé afternoons, live music, vibrant seasonal menus featuring fresh local produce, and special moments curated for family celebrations. Our Mother’s Day celebration at Ti Bananne, which sold out before the menu was even unveiled, remains one of our most anticipated calendar events! As travelers continue seeking experience-led escapes, our intimate Rodney Bay setting offers the perfect balance of social energy, local connection, and boutique comfort that is distinctly Caribbean.
A heartfelt thank you to everyone who joined us for A Taste for Mom this Mother’s Day at Coco Palm Resort. Guests spent the afternoon indulging in an all-you-can-eat buffet and inclusive house drinks, savoring rich fusions of Lucian and international flavours. From West Indian slow-cooked oxtail with coconut cassava dumplings to Korean-style tamarind glazed ribs and grilled mahi mahi with creole chimichurri, Chef Richardson Skinner’s renowned Caribbean creations were the star of the event. Sweet moments were shared over decadent desserts, comforting sides, live music and the warm hospitality that makes every Coco Palm celebration feel like home. We were honoured to celebrate Motherhood with our valued guests, local visitors, and the wonderful women within our team, recognising the love, strength, and joy mothers bring to our lives each day.
High energy abounds at Coco Palm every year during this iconic musical week. We welcomed guests from around the world for the 2026 Saint Lucia Jazz & Arts Festival, with the hotel proudly operating at full capacity throughout the celebrations. Spirits were high as guests embraced the vibrant atmosphere of the island — dressing up, gathering for cocktails, and heading out to enjoy the infectious rhythm and eclectic performances taking place across Saint Lucia. From internationally renowned artistes to cultural showcases and unforgettable evenings at Pigeon Island National Landmark, the festival once again transformed the destination into a dynamic celebration of music, art, and Caribbean spirit. We were delighted to be part of such an exciting and memorable occasion.
We’re delighted to introduce our new and improved Daypass experience, now featuring Chef Skinner’s signature West Indian breakfast buffet — a true favourite amongst those in the know — complete with beloved fresh bakes, local saltfish, and an array of authentic island breakfast classics to start the day the Caribbean way. Guests can enjoy a full day of relaxation from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with poolside lounging, warm island hospitality, and access to the vibrant energy of Rodney Bay Village. Whether planning a spontaneous local escape, a well-deserved day of indulgence, or celebrating in style with our Over The Top (OTT) birthday package, the enhanced Coco Palm Daypass is the perfect excuse to make a day of it.
We’re excited to be hitting the road this May as we continue sharing the spirit of Saint Lucia and the vibrant energy of Rodney Bay with our valued travel partners and industry colleagues. Feolla will be visiting the UK throughout May with stops in Surrey and Hampshire, while Rhyan heads across the US with visits to Long Island, NY, Mount Laurel, NJ, Charlotte, NC, Atlanta, GA, and Key Biscayne, FL. In June, she will head to Toronto to visit our Canada reps and partners. We look forward to reconnecting, building new partnerships, and bringing a taste of lush Lucian living to each destination along the way!
September also offers some of the year’s most attractive airfares, making it the perfect time to plan your escape. From peaceful post-summer retreats and wellness-led getaways to magical family escapes over the October half-term and Thanksgiving season, this is the perfect time to experience Saint Lucia at a gentler, more intimate rhythm from our hidden oasis in the heart of Rodney Bay. With Secret September, guests are invited to uncover a more authentic side of the island, where spontaneous moments, vibrant local food, and immersive cultural experiences take centre stage.
October is Creole Heritage Month, offering the chance to discover the richness of Saint Lucian Kwéyòl culture through music, cuisine, storytelling, and island tradition. Guests visiting during this special season can also enjoy our much-loved Creole Fridays, Coco Palm’s own lively backyard-style celebration of local food, rum, rhythm, and Caribbean charm. The island’s annual Jounen Kwéyòl (Creole Day) festivities are held on the final Sunday of October.

As I celebrate my first year at Coco Resorts this month, it is clear to see how we have had our GM Mr Jean St Rose from day one 22 years ago with some team members here from before Coco Palm was built! There is much to celebrate in the year and Coco Palm has gone from strength to strength which is not lost on our repeat guests! Coco Kreole has also been given a new lease on life and we have plans for much more!
With heartfelt gratitude,
Simone Skinner
