Like staying with family! We stayed at Coco Palm Resort in Rodney Bay from 10-21 through 10-26, 2026. This trip was booked at the last minute, as we were attending the funeral of a family member in St. Lucia. When I booked the trip, I was given an additional discount through the hotel, which offered us a rate for St. Lucian residents, which was greatly appreciated, given the situation. I was able to arrange an airport transfer through the hotel, and our driver Marie was friendly, professional and very accommodating. She provided both of us with an ice cold bottle of water when we entered the car, which was greatly appreciated. It has been a long time since my last trip to St. Lucia, and she was the perfect tour guide. We stopped at a beautiful overlook in Dennery to take photos! We were greeted at the hotel my the general manager, Jean St. Rose, and Claudine, and it felt like I was visiting my cousins. I know both of them from trips I took 25 years ago when they were working at another hotel. They remembered me and my husband, and we shared some fond memories. Since I was traveling with my goddaughter, they upgraded us to a lovely suite, to provide us with more space and privacy. It was such a welcome surprise!! I really felt so welcomed and at home, even though this was my first time as a guest at this hotel. Our suite was so spacious - we had two full bathrooms, and one had a lovely soaking tub! Everything was spotless, and housekeeping was fantastic. We had trouble with an electrical outlet in a bathroom, and maintenance came up quickly and determined that the outlet needed to be replaced. We went out to do a little shopping at the nearby Rodney Bay shopping and entertainment strip behind the hotel, and by the time we came back, the outlet had been replaced. The daily included full breakfast was excellent. The selections included American, British and local items, a variety of breads, fruit and cheeses, and an omelette station with lots of add-ins available. The coffee was delicious and strong! We really appreciated starting our day with a wonderful breakfast! And a friendly wait staff! Everyone at the front desk was very helpful and always cheerful. We were able to plan a round trip group taxi excursion to the Gros Islet Friday night street party. I really liked that the hotel provided this service for all the guests, and the drivers were wonderful. They told us exactly where to meet them, and what times they would be returning to the resort. They also “checked” on us as we wandered through the street party. It was a wonderful evening, mingling with tourists and locals, eating great food and enjoying drinks, shopping the booths, and of course - dancing to the music. We went on a catamaran cruise through Sea Spray Cruises, and had an absolutely fantastic time sailing to the Pitons, driving through Soufriere, visiting Toraille waterfall, the sulphur springs with a mud bath, a delicious lunch, a sail through Marigot Bay, and snorkeling at Anse Cochon. This brought back so many happy memories for me. I really love St. Lucia and can’t wait to return for a full vacation. We were able to walk 5 minutes to Reduit Beach from the hotel. There is a new public park being built that includes a playground, and spaces for vendors and food and drink. We ate at Marie’s new location - and the breadfruit and salt fish were the best I’ve ever tasted! We watched her prepare everything from scratch. It took a while but was so worth it, and we were able to chat with her while she cooked. We rented an umbrella and 2 lounge chairs at the beach and ended up chatting with the guys who rented them to us. A few vendors approached us and we bought a few small items. My goddaughter was able to enjoy her first fresh coconut sliced open in front of her, and she was so excited to try it, with a little rum added to the coconut water. What could be improved? I would have liked a microwave in my room. I had lots of delicious leftovers that I put in my fridge, but no way to heat them up for a late night snack. We did bring some leftovers down to the restaurant, and they were happy to reheat them for us. Coco Palm is such a sweet and convenient place to stay. There is shopping right behind the hotel, 2 Massy supermarkets, the “strip” of night clubs and restaurants, and a bank with a 24 hr ATM to get cash in EC. My last 5 visits to St. Lucia were at an all-inclusive, but I really LOVED this more local experience. I felt safe as a single senior woman walking on the streets by myself, going to the bank, and to the beach. The hotel had guests both from St. Lucia, and all over the world, couples and families. We met so many really nice people, and again, felt very much at home. The pool area was very peaceful, and the adjoining bar served delicious drinks. It was very relaxing, and again, it felt very much like visiting cousins. On my next trip, I will definitely book Coco Palm again. Beautiful hotel, beautiful service - and most of all - beautiful people!Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Good location, hotel & access to beach. The ideal location for shopping, eating, beach & nightlife. The hotel has a very relaxed welcoming atmosphere. Some of the staff members are friendly if approached. The rooms are a good size and cleaned daily. Though they could improve on the cleaning but is satisfactory. Buffet Breakfast was included in our reservation which saves you having to think about what you want to eat. However, they could make improvements in this area. The long queue for your eggs/omelette let the service down. They ran out of items on the breakfast buffet and were very slow to replace them. There was bread with no butter, limited fruits, lack of organisation in the kitchen made it difficult to get a full breakfast all on one plate without having to go back to check to see if items had been replaced. Whilst breakfast is open items must be available for people to select.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Tanya at the bar Having over 10 years working in the hospitality industry, I know how much pressure it comes with especially when the establishment is busy and you're the only one wthere to smile at guests, keep your cool and still deliver excellent service. With that being said, Tanya was amazing!! She is thr bar captain i believe. She worked flawlessly. I observed that she was the only one running the bar from after breakfast until afternoon. Please give her a raise! We were a party of nine (9). All of thw drinks were on point! We will definitely be back, next time with more persons even.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Coco Palm- you didn’t disappoint! There is so much to be said about our stay at Coco Palm- everything was 100% top notch. Upon arrival the reception staff was extremely friendly and always helpful, ready with answers to whatever questions we had; kudos to Carleen and Garfield. The food at the restaurant ; Ti Bananne was always delicious and well presented. Especially loved the Steak sizzler at lunchtimes. The waitresses were always ready to take our next order and make sure our drinks were always replenished. Special thanks to Anouska, Vermessa and Sam. One of our favourite places to be at the end of a day chilling in the hammocks or on the beautiful Reduit beach just a 5 min walk away was at the bar. Wow, their bar staff was one of the nicest we’ve ever come across. Sholar, Tanya (T) and Malaika were truly the best bartenders! Loved their creative specialty drinks that they came up with and the jokes and laughter just had us going back to spend many evenings with them at the bar. And Sholar, we’re still thinking of your delicious tamarind juice! And Jan, the cashier, she was the sweetest. The entire staff, great location of the resort, our room always being clean, bed well made up and towels freshened everyday made this resort one of my favourites to date and we promise to be back soon again. The ooonnnlllyyyy thing we would have wanted was for the pillows to be a bit more comfortable and for the upper level rooms to have full balconies instead of the Juliettes. Otherwise, we wouldn’t change a thing.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Above and Beyond I was looking for a hotel on island to close the summer holidays off for my 6year old and celebrate his birthday and I was taken off guard at this experience. This was such an amazing vacation. The suite we stayed in was gorgeous and made it difficult to decide whether we stay in the room or by the pool. Ana did a great at cleaning up our mess daily and replenishing my coffee and sugar . Mrs. Gilbert took time out of her busy schedule to say hello and have a chat which I appreciated. The staff are so warm and genuine , none of that fake smiling you get at other resorts . We were happy to meet Garnet every morning . I appreciated Samantha's warmness and her attention to detail at the restaurant ... what a smile !!!!! Amenda was true to her word and followed through to ensure there were adequate towels at the pool . Martin felt like family . He is such a beautiful person. We will most definitely be back for a longer stay next time. Shavaun DoriusPosted on Tripadvisor![]()

wow We had a very pleasant stay at the Coco Palm in Saint Lucia. We particularly appreciated the kindness and professionalism of the staff. Everyone respects our privacy while remaining available and attentive. The pool, another point that particularly impressed us, the 24/7 available service. That is something I had never seen anywhere else before! And a special mention for the shower with its seat: perhaps a detail for some, but for me, it was exactly the kind of thing I had always dreamed of! True comfort on a daily basis. I would like to make a very special mention of Miss Telcar, for her kindness, her goodness, and her attentiveness. I saw her every day during our stay, and she did not forget my birthday. This small gesture touched me enormously and made our stay so much more pleasant. Her kindness, her smile, and her way of being really made the difference. Thank you to Miss Telcar for this lovely gesture and for her goodness. It is these small human gestures that make a stay truly unforgettable. We will be back, the price reflects the quality.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()

Disappointing experience, poor service Very poor service in this hotel, I do not recommend that you visit here there are other options in the Rodney Bay Area to choose instead. The shower in the room was broken, the soap dispenser was broken, the balcony door was broken leaving a lovely gap for creatures to enter the room. Checking in as a solo woman it was very disheartening that the man behind the desk Calle Doug my room number loudly - this is a safety risk?????!!!! Surely this should be known for the staff. The breakfast was weak, cold bakes, ants crawling on the Saltfish serving spoon. The room was kinda clean but not clean enough to feel comfortable in, and to top it all off when I was departing I asked about 5 times for help to bring my cases down, nobody answered and nobody helped. I had time bound plans so it was distressing to be ignored for 20 minutes and have to carry all four bags myself - the woman behind the desk was calling for help but to no avail- nobody answered, nobody helped and one rude man came when I basically had already brought the bags down myself and done all the work- and then muttered something rude about me whilst flailing his arms, I was upset and irate and understandably so. The single biggest waste of my hard earned money this calendar year.Posted on Tripadvisor![]()
